T. Rex's album Electric Warrior started on run of six consecutive weeks at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart, on December 18, 1971 as part of an unbelievable 44 week run. In a retrospective review, Pitchfork gave it 9.5 out of 10 and ranked it the 20th best album of the ‘70s Rolling Stone Magazine ranked it the 160th best album of all time.
