David Bowie Centre - Now Open!

At V&A East Storehouse Free entry From Tuesday 3 February, you can visit the David Bowie Centre without booking a timed ticket! Important things to know: This is first and foremost a working archive with reading areas and a study room. For the deepest experience, plan ahead: explore the archive online and book items you'd like to view/study. (Tips below) If you're just popping in to see the space, note it's not a large-scale exhibition-only a small selection is on display across 9 mini exhibits.

Most visitors spend around 30 minutes here.

Practical tips:

Queues are likely (especially weekends & school holidays). No separate line for V&A Members. No gift shop on site yet-grab David Bowie range items online or at V&A South Kensington.
