Slade's NME Poll Double Victory


Published in the UK on January 27, 1973, New Musical Express’s one-page advert “MANY THANKS TO ALL OUR FANS FOR MAKING US No. 1 BRITISH GROUP and No. 1 BRITISH LIVE BAND” was a heartfelt thank-you from Slade to their fans for topping two major categories in the 1972 NME Readers Poll.
