Alice Cooper Group’s “Teenage Lament ’74”, backed with “Hard Hearted Alice,” was issued as a 7‑inch vinyl single in the UK by Warner Bros. Records in 1974, with the catalog number you’re about to supply. Both tracks come from the band’s final album as a group, Muscle of Love (1973), marking the closing chapter of the original lineup’s run.

The single paired two contrasting moods from the album:

“Teenage Lament ’74” — a soaring, emotional glam‑rock anthem with one of the group’s most melodic, heartfelt choruses

“Hard Hearted Alice” — a darker, introspective slow‑burner that showcased the band’s dramatic range

A standout release from the group’s final era, the single captured both their emotional depth and their theatrical edge.Alice Cooper Group’s "Teenage Lament '74" backed with "Hard Hearted Alice", was released as a 7-inch vinyl single in the UK by Warner Bros.
