Five kilometers as the crow flies from the Munich Olympic grounds
Manuela to Ricky Shayne and Daliah Lavi, the happiest sports festival of the year. It wasn't possible to laugh along is more important than winning," was the motto of the fans from all over the world
de the Otto winners away, they went to the start: 18 Otto winners – from to the T. Rex – met at the Sheraton Hotel for records, not medals. "Take part and BRAVO Olympics. And don't ask our award-winning stars twice...

The BRAVO Olympics of the Otto-leger Mickey F
Mickey has the hang of it:
T. Rex star Mickey Finn turned out to be a man with iron fists. Wordlessly, he grabbed the rod-shaped power spiral that the others had left behind and bent it into a semicircle. "There's a little trick to it," grinned Mickey, as Marc Bolan tried (unsuccessfully) to imitate the feat of strength.
A "Golden Shot" with Bow and Arrow:
"That's unbelievable!" said Uschi Glas and Claus Wilcke 1
amazed when Manuela unerringly shot two of four arrows into the center of the target from a distance of six meters during archery. "And I've never held a bow in my hand before," laughed Manuela. Uschi, who enjoys playing golf in her free time, had to surrender to such luck.
Paddling in an inflatable boat:
"The main thing is that it's comfortable," Daliah Lavi told herself, paddling through the swimming pool in an inflatable boat. Claus Wilcke and Hansi Kraus escorted her. "I don't care for sports," Daliah confessed. "I prefer to watch others do it."
Sweating cure on the "torture bench":
Amadeus August had to cycle, pull expanders, and bend his torso on the Adam exercise bike. "A real backbreaker," Amadeus puffed, "but ideal for muscle training."
Inn as a strength athlete
With "Go!" it all started: Hansi Kraus involuntarily took a bath when Sweet singer Brian Connelly secretly pulled the plug out of his rubber boat. And Inge Meysel, with Blacky's help, rose into the air...
Eight pulled, the pieces flew:
"Careful, the rope's about to break!"
shouted Inge Meysel. But even with this disruptive maneuver, she failed to prevent the defeat of "her" team (left with Claus Wilcke, Uschi Glas, and Amadeus August) in the tug-of-war. The opponents - judo expert Fuchsberger
(he was the regional champion of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1949), Katja Ebstein, Pierre Brice, and Chris Roberts - emerged victorious after 30 seconds
Three "sweet" water rats:
"That's sport after our taste!" When Mick Tucker, Brian Connelly, and Steve Priest of the Sweet weren't frolicking in the water, the jokers of the BRAVO Olympics were hoisting the rowing machines.
One tug and Inge is floating:
"Help, let me down again," Inge Meysel snorted, laughing. The "strong men" Joachim Fuchsberger and Claus Wilcke lifted the record-holder among the Otto winners (11 Ottos!) up, barbell and all. Fun for three.
Manuela's drinks cheer up tired athletes:
"Real Olympians don't have it that good," said Amadeus August, when Manuela served him a Campari and soda during the swimming break. "Sports are supposed to be fun," explained the cheeky Berliner, revealing that she won several honorary certificates in the triathlon at the Federal Youth Games during her school days.
On skis, the "Lümmel" is king:
"They ride like real skis!" Hansi Kraus (center) was amazed when he tried out a pair of roller skis (ideal exercise bikes) on the hotel terrace. In a crash course, he tried to get Chris Roberts (back) and Mickey Finn from the T. Rex excited about skiing. Without much success. "I couldn't even get down an idiot hill with those things," groaned Chris.
And Mickey capitulated a little later: "That's not a sport for me. I prefer playing soccer."
Good rowing tips from Blacky:
"I'm about to get calluses on my hands," moaned Katja Ebstein as she took a dry-rowing course with Inge Meysel at Blacky Fuchsberger's. "I used to be a good 100-meter sprinter," Katja recounted.
Ricky lets the barbell fly:
Like a toy, Ricky Shayne lifted the 20 kg barbell ten times in a row. In his private life, however, he prefers a more elegant sport: fencing with foil or épée.

The BRAVO Olympics of the Otto Winners
"Phew—now I'm completely exhausted"
After three hours of fun and games, Inge Meysel expressed what everyone felt
With cunning, Inge can do anything:
"Come on, kids, hold on!" Inge Meysel urged Katja Ebstein and Amadeus August, making up for her lack of strength with cunning when pulling the expander. The oldest of the Otto winners was the most active at the BRAVO Olympics
The trampoline remained the winner:
Claus Wilcke, Amadeus August, and Pierre Brice still set a record: The three of them bounced on a trampoline that is normally only designed for one jumper
Slightly injured and quickly treated:
Marc Bolan pedaled his indoor bicycle so hard that he slipped with one foot and got a scratch. Inge Meysel sympathetically provided "first aid"
A good aim is almost a hit:
"Purely a matter of nerves," replied Uschi Glas when Claus Wilcke praised her accuracy at home. Golf is Uschi's favorite sport: "I met my friend Count Lamberg on the golf course."
