Originally released in 1971, *Electric Warrior* was T. Rex’s breakthrough album that took Marc Bolan from underground folk-psych roots to glam-rock superstardom with hits such as “Get It On,” “Jeepster,” and “Cosmic Dancer.” In April 2012, A&M/Universal issued a deluxe multi-disc edition (catalogue 533 780-3) that paired the remastered original album with a second CD of B-sides and 21 previously unreleased demos and working versions.

The set also included a DVD featuring promotional clips and live performances from *Top of the Pops* and *Beat Club*, including “Hot Love,” “Get It On,” “Jeepster,” and “Life’s a Gas.” Accompanied by a 32-page hardback book, poster, coaster, and memorabilia, this reissue gave fans unprecedented access to the creative process behind one of glam rock’s defining records.
