THE SPIDERS FROM MARS: "Black Man White Man" (Pye). Trevor Bolder (or "Boulder", as he apparently now wishes to be known) plays remarkably sturdy bass, but good bass playing alone has rarely saved an otherwise poor record, and this record is so poor that it should file bankruptcy papers. It was written by the two new Spiders, who could well have organised a more promising debut. One less promising would have been scientific-ally impossible.
