Middle of the Road: Europop Hits

Middle of the Road were a Scottish pop band who scored massive international success in the early 1970s with their bright, upbeat Europop sound. Led by singer Sally Carr, they are best remembered for the worldwide smash “Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep” and other catchy hits like “Soley Soley”. Known for their joyful harmonies and feel-good energy, they became one of the most successful continental pop acts of the glam era.
