Their version transforms the song into a dramatic, cabaret‑styled rock performance, driven by Alex Harvey’s storytelling delivery and the band’s trademark mix of vaudeville, hard rock and Glaswegian humour. Released in July 1975, it became one of their biggest UK hits. RECORDING Recorded during the band’s mid‑Seventies peak, "Delilah" was produced by David Batchelor, who shaped SAHB’s dist
