"The Whole World's Going Crazy" was issued in the United Kingdom on October 20, 1972 as a promotional flexi disc distributed with the debut issue of Music Scene magazine. Released through Sound For Industry under catalogue number SFI 122, the recording provided readers with an exclusive Slade track at a time when the group was rapidly becoming one of Britain's leading glam rock acts. Unlike a standard commercial single, this flexi disc was produced as a magazine giveaway. Acc
