Previously unreleased live album from David Bowie’s 1995 Outside Tour, now available on all streaming services. The title “Ouvrez Le Chien” (French for “Open the Dog”) originates from the lyrics of “All the Madmen” and was prominently featured in the 1995 tour staging.
Recorded live at the Starplex Amphitheater in Dallas on October 13, 1995, during the US leg of the Outside Tour. The album captures Bowie performing tracks from the Outside album alongside classics. It also includes two bonus tracks from the Birmingham show on December 13, 1995: “Moonage Daydream” and “Under Pressure” (previously only on the “Hallo Spaceboy” CD single). The cover image was taken by Iman during the 1995 tour
Produced by David Bowie and recorded by Steve Guest. Mixed by David Richards at Mountain Studios, Switzerland. This release celebrates the raw energy of Bowie’s mid-90s live performances and marks the streaming debut of several tracks.
