THE STORY 7TS/Glam CD will release Ian Hunter: The Singles Collection 1975-83, a 2CD set compiling all of Hunter’s A-sides and B-sides from his post-Mott The Hoople solo career on CBS and Chrysalis. The collection includes many rare edited single versions and features notable contributions from Mick Ronson, members of the E Street Band, John Cale, Mick Jones (The Clash), and others.


CONTEXT AND NOTES After leaving Mott The Hoople in 1975, Ian Hunter built a strong and influential solo career. This release gathers his key singles from “Once Bitten Twice Shy” through to 1983’s “Somethin’s Goin’ On”, celebrating one of British rock’s most distinctive voices.
