CONTEXT AND NOTES
The song references six teenagers growing up amid the revolutionary rhetoric of the 1960s. It was the penultimate Chinn/Chapman single for the band and the last on which Phil Wainman assisted as producer. Often regarded as one of Chinn and Chapman’s finest works, it marked a shift toward a more mature glam sound.
