THE STORY This Parlophone 7" single (R 5902) features “All You'll Ever Get From Me” on the A-side and “The Juicer” on the B-side. It was a 1971 reissue of earlier 1970 material, released in an attempt to capitalise on the band’s rising profile after signing with Chinn & Chapman and RCA.

CONTEXT & NOTES By mid-1971 The Sweet were in transition. Their RCA releases were gaining traction, but they still had Parlophone commitments. This single did not chart, highlighting the shift from their early pop sound toward the glam-rock era that would follow with hits like “Co-Co”.
A key early 7" single from The Sweet during a major transitional phase in their career. Released on Parlophone (catalogue R 5902), this was a reissue of their 1970 track R 5826
Date: 23 Jan 1970
