The July 14, 1973 edition of Melody Maker carries a full-page advertisement for the Buxton “Pop” Festival at Booth Farm, near Buxton, Derbyshire, on Saturday July 21st.

The advert promotes the festival presented by Steve Robinson in association with North-West Promotions Ltd. Headliners include Roy Wood’s “Wizzard” and a special one-and-only UK appearance by Chuck Berry.
